Mission
At the Keeper Klub Goalie School, we strive for our goalkeepers to first and foremost have fun playing their position. We will start on building the core skills that make it essential to become an effective and efficient goalkeeper. From there they will learn situational game play, recovery techniques, puck play, and much more. We aim to see every goalie reach his or her full potential and compete at the top of their respected level.
About Me
Alex Bjerk
I was born and raised in a small town in northern Minnesota 10 miles from the Canadian border. My good work ethic is credited to working on a farm in the summer months.
I received my Diploma from Roseau High School, and earned my Bachelor’s Degree from the
University of Wisconsin Eau Claire.
I started coaching when I was in college as I would help out with the youth goalkeepers doing private lessons or working with different teams within the local organization. Over the past decade I have been lucky enough to work with and learn from some of the top goalie minds in the country. It is my pleasure to continue to pass on my knowledge of the position to anyone who wants to better themselves and can put forth their best effort.

Pre-season Keeper Kamp
During the course of these 4 sessions, we will be focused on building and refining your keepers foundational skills to build upon and grow from. Each session will be structured in a progression form of practice, starting with basic and essential skills moving into more complex situational drills and training.
Ages: 6 and up
Topics Include:
- Proper stance
- Save selection
- Goalie-specific skating
- Technique and execution
- Strength
- Conditioning

Time: Every session is held from 4:45 to 5:45 PM.
